In short
- We do not collect, store, sell or share your personal information through the app.
- There are no accounts, no advertising and no analytics or tracking tools from us in the app.
- Your login details are kept in the system Keychain on your device.
- The app connects directly to the servers you add. Those providers handle their own data.
1Who we are
Bee IPTV Player (the “app”) is developed and published by Ersin Ayaz (“we”, “us”, “our”). If you have any question about this policy or your privacy, contact us at support@bee-iptv.app.
This policy applies to the Bee IPTV Player app for iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and Mac and to the website bee-iptv.app.
2What we do not collect
We do not operate any server that receives data from the app. Because of this, we do not collect, receive or have access to:
- your source details, such as server addresses, usernames, passwords or playlist links;
- what you watch, search for or save;
- your name, email address, phone number or any other account information (the app has no accounts);
- your location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone or advertising identifier;
- analytics, usage statistics or crash reports sent by the app to us.
The app does not include third-party advertising, analytics, tracking or crash-reporting tools, and it does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
3What the app stores on your device
To work, the app keeps some information locally on your device. This information is not sent to us:
- Source details. The server address and username of each source, and any playlist link you add. Passwords and other secrets are stored in the system Keychain.
- Library and guide caches. Copies of the channel list, movie and series catalogue and programme guide that your provider supplies, so the app opens quickly.
- Your activity in the app. My List, Continue Watching progress, recent searches and, on the Mac, favourite channels.
- Settings. For example your chosen language, playback preferences and the live-rewind window.
- Recordings (Mac only). If you record live TV, the file is saved on your Mac in a location you can access. Local M3U files you import are read from the place you choose.
- Background refresh. When the system allows, the app refreshes your catalogue and guide in the background by contacting your provider.
You can delete a source in Settings to remove its stored credentials and cached data. Deleting the app removes the data the app stored on your device. Depending on the operating system, items in the Keychain may remain after an app is deleted, so we recommend removing your sources in the app first. On Apple TV the app keeps its files in a system cache area, which the system may clear at any time.
4Connections to your provider
The app exists to play content from sources you choose. When you add a source, the app connects directly from your device to the servers you specified in order to sign in, download playlists, catalogues, programme guides and artwork, and stream video. These servers are operated by third parties, not by us.
Your provider and the networks between you and the provider may see information such as your IP address, device and network details, the credentials you use to sign in and the streams you request. How a provider handles this information is governed by that provider’s own privacy policy, and we have no control over it. Please review it before you subscribe.
Many providers deliver content over unencrypted (HTTP) connections. The app allows such connections so it can work with them. Where your provider offers an encrypted (HTTPS) address, we recommend using it.
5Apple
The app is distributed through the App Store. Apple processes your Apple Account, purchase and download information under Apple’s Privacy Policy. If you choose to share app analytics with developers in your device settings, Apple may provide us with aggregated, anonymous information such as crash reports and usage statistics. We cannot identify you from it.
6Open-source components
The app includes open-source software for video decoding, including FFmpeg through the KSPlayer library. These components run entirely on your device. Their licence notices are available in the app under Settings.
7Website
The website bee-iptv.app is a static information site. It does not use cookies, advertising or analytics scripts of ours. Like every website, our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as your IP address and request details to deliver the site and keep it secure, under Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy. If you email us, we use your message and address only to reply to you and to improve the app, and we delete them when they are no longer needed.
8Children
The app is a general-purpose media player and is not directed at children. It does not contain content of its own; what can be watched depends entirely on the sources that the user adds. Parents and guardians are responsible for the sources and content their children can access. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
9Your rights and choices
Because we do not collect or hold personal information about you through the app, there is generally nothing for us to access, correct, export or delete. You stay in control of your data on your device at all times: you can remove sources, clear your activity and delete the app whenever you wish.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation, Turkey’s Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) or the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the rights to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your personal data. We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use it for profiling. For data processed by your provider, you should contact that provider. For anything involving us, including emails you have sent us, write to support@bee-iptv.app and we will respond within the time required by law. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
10Security
We use the protections provided by Apple’s platforms, including the Keychain for your credentials and the app sandbox. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please keep your device protected with a passcode and your operating system up to date.
11International transfers
We do not transfer your personal data from the app to ourselves or to any other party. Your provider’s servers may be located in other countries. Where that is the case, the transfer happens between your device and your provider.
12Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time, for example when the app changes or the law requires it. We will post the new version on this page and change the “Last updated” date. If a change is significant, we will make it visible in the app or on our website. Please review this page from time to time.
